Vehicle Sourcing and Sales

The customer will initiate the sourcing process by submitting an enquiry form via the Muse Motor Scout website.

Our enquiry form will require the following customer information to be provided;

Name, email and telephone number;

On receipt of the enquiry, Muse will contact the customer to review the request.

When Muse Motor Scout has identified vehicles that meet the specification and price range agreed, Muse Motor Scout will carry out initial background checks to verify their provenance, Muse Motor Scout will contact the customer regarding the vehicles that they believe are most suitable.

Muse Motor Scout will then search for suitable vehicles and will relay progress to the customer.

Once the customer has agreed that a specific vehicle meets their criteria, Muse Motor Scout can arrange for any additional checks to be carried out – if there is further cost attached, this will be specified.

Muse Motor Scout will not place a deposit or complete the purchase of a vehicle until cleared funds have been received from the customer.

In the unlikely event that Muse Motor Scout, when collecting the vehicle from the supplier finds the vehicle is not in the condition expected, Muse Motor Scout will either return the money in full to the customer or retain the deposit against another vehicle.

If a customer decides to cancel the purchase of a vehicle, where a deposit has already been paid, Muse Motor Scout will endeavour to recover the deposit. Muse Motor Scout cannot guarantee that it will be refunded either in part or in full. If the deposit is not fully refunded, the customer accepts that this is the customer’s liability and agrees not to hold Muse Motor Scout liable.

Muse Motor Scout reserves the right to decline their services at their sole discretion.

Once the vehicle has been found:

We will undertake reasonable checks to verify the mileage, service history and MoT history;

We will provide customers with a report verifying that the vehicle has not been previously recorded as stolen or classified as an insurance write-off, and confirming that it is free from any outstanding finance;

We will ensure that all vehicles have been serviced within six months preceding the date of purchase.

We will prepare vehicles to a high standard, except for normal wear and tear in relation to the age and mileage of the vehicle.

In order to secure the right vehicle, speed of transactions is essential. Therefore, Muse Motor Scout requests that all payments are payable on demand, any delays may result in the vehicle no longer being available.

When Muse Motor Scout requests payment from a customer, the customer will be issued with a sales order showing the total value of the sales and any additional items requested,

Muse Motor Scout will not place a deposit or complete the purchase of a vehicle until cleared funds have been received from the customer.

Payments to Muse Motor Scout can be made by bank transfer, debit cards, or cash.

We will not accept cheques or bank drafts.

Muse Motor Scout will only deliver vehicles to destinations in the UK. Deliveries to Northern Ireland and Europe will be charged on an individual basis and a quote is available on request.

Muse Motor Scout usually require at least two working days’ notice to arrange delivery.

Customers are responsible for arranging road fund licence and insurance on the vehicle prior to handover. Muse Motor Scout is happy to assist you with this upon request.

Vehicles will only be delivered when all outstanding sums have been settled.

General

Muse Motor Scout reserves the right, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions of Service by posting updates and changes to its website. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the website periodically for changes. The customer’s continued use of or access to our website or Muse services following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms and Conditions of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

These Terms and Conditions of Service and any separate agreements where Muse Motor Scout provides services shall be subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
